＋Vintage/Retro circa 1940's Top Quality Gentleman's Top Hat in brushed silk including original silk ribbon to the crown by the fantastic hatters 'Lincoln Bennett & Co' the interior of the top hat is fully lined in silk with a calf skin trim, the inside roof to the top hat being matted in cream silk with the Hatters mark for 'Lincoln Bennett & Co - Burlington Gardens - Old Bond Street - London'.
The Hat has an inside measurement of 21 inches making this to be a U.K size 6 and 5/8'ths.
In Very Good condition for age, no holes, repairs or rot (please see photographs) the Top hat is presented in original Mail order hard Card Box with original address in a hand written legend along with a seven pence postage stamp for King George VI, the box shows age related wear from long storage but is intact.
The Hat dates to the 1940's.
