1930s SylvaC Model 165 'Cat On Top Hat' Posy Vase

This is a lovely early example of a late 1930s SylvaC Model 165 ‘Cat On Top Hat’ Posy Vase. However, it would also make a very cute pin/trinket/ring/earring storage dish.

I’ve seen the dog and rabbit, and later 1940/50s cat version of this figurine, (which we also have available: see image below) but not this particular early version with the kitten.

In this earlier version, the kitten is playing or washing its face, (I’m not sure which), sat on the rim of a top hat. Very ‘catty’ behaviour as most cat owners would attest!

It is in very good condition with no cracks or restoration. There is a small amount of surface scuffing.
